Getting an MBA would be a detriment to your career at this stage, especially from the above schools. Look into MSF programs, Vanderbilt’s has a great reputation for starters but recommend researching on your own further.

 

Absolutely do not do an MBA with no work experience. Do a master's in finance if you are set on graduate school. The only MBA program worth doing out of school is Yale silver scholars and even then, I would only recommend it if you had no job prospects.

 

Getting an MBA would not increase your job prospects in research and therefore the money you’re spending will not generate any additional returns. Maybe it’s zero ROI instead of negative but still quite bad.
