I have tried with Uppermark, but the experience was disappointing. When I ordered in December there was no information that they are late in preparing the materials and have to ship in several stages. We are in the meanwhile in February and they still have not send out the remaining volume of the study notes for the March Level II exam.

Roland,

I'm taking level 1 in a month, any tips on passing it. I too am disappointed in Uppermark. Did you just read through the Anson book? Take practice tests?

I used only Uppermark for the Level I exam and easily passed. You need to take a lot of their practice and mock exams. I just took Level II. There was nothing on it that wasn't in the Uppermark books and testbank questions. You just have to practice a lot of questions.

I didn't purchase any prep stuff for lvl I.

For lvl II, I purchased materials through KalmAI which no longer seems to be in biz.

If I were in your shoes, I would probably pick up the Institutional Investor content because they publish a lot of the CAIA content (e.g. Journal of Alternative Investments).

...food for thought

I used Upper Mark for both Level I and Level II. I thought the summary books were pretty good, but I found the practice tests and formula sheets to be particularly helpful.

Hi, but given that Schweser is so widely used for the CFA program, wouldn't be it be the better choice in for such study guides (which in this case is CAIA)?

Great CAIA LV1 LV2 2019 materials, check out at www.4caia.com Uppermark has confirmed with that March and Sep are almost the same with a probably very minor change. Hope it helps you prepare the exam with a lower burden
