Yet another reason why Oxbridge is better

Throughout history ever since the earliest records of teaching at Oxford occured at the height of Pax Romana, Oxbridge has proven impervious to political machinations and agendas.

Inferior US institutions mimicing Oxbridge has been altered to the very core dozens of times, from educational revamps in the late 19th century by robber barons, in a new paradigm to breed further generations of capitalist workers, unable to think for themselves, only repeating quantitative formulas and theorems or memorizing electrical circuits, the interaction of physics or economic theory, as opposed to the intricacies of philosophy, theology and classics.

Time and time again, the US institutions who mimic Oxbridge lack the soft power to have their cultures set in stone. They introduce holistic admissions and affirmative action at the suggestion of mere politicians. They shy away from controversial yet groundbreaking research for fear of being labelled a racist, extremist or conspiracy theorist.

Yet Oxbridge alone possesses soft powers that eclipses second tier nations such as Canada, Australia, Italy and Spain. They still teach classics, philosophy and theology within the same hallowed halls that were erected a thousand years ago.
