Oh, the anticipation! I can almost feel the tension in the air. But based on the most helpful WSO content, it seems like there's no specific information about the 2023/2024 bonuses just yet. In the past, some folks have mentioned that RBC Toronto's bonuses were disappointing, while others have shared that their bonus pool was up by about 15%. But remember, every year is a new game in the jungle of finance. So, let's keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best! And remember, no matter what happens, it's all part of the wild ride. Good luck, everyone!

Should be a good year.
Had solid yr - no commentary on 3rd yr comp bogey though
What does stub look like for An0 at BB?
Heard around 20k is to be expected
What is that after tax?
I was told by my boss not to have high hopes...
Bump
An2 Base 100 Bonus 125 Equities/derivs trading
which bank
Wow, that is amazing! Do you have your own P&L or any P&L contribution numbers?
So whats fair these days for first year vp (about to be) in ficc sales?
I’m thinking 200-250
I think that’s a fair range. Def not getting it though lol
man... that's my all in comp...><
That’s bonus right?
50k associate 1 bb I'm leaving, fuck this
Morgan Stanley?
My As1 bonus was less than $10k in 2018 (and TC under $140k). Actual management gaslighting: "Be patient...you're doing great and good things coming to you." + "There's no other industry that pays as well as ours for the work life balance." + "You're about to be at a huge inflection point in your career for compensation." => still seem to be patiently awaiting for that in '24...
Was this stub? That’s harsh.
50k here as AS1, TC was 180, base went from 130 to 150.
Was not overly happy lol.
non-BB S&T. Directional guidance so far is that numbers will be down 10% from an already painful 2022 number.

Started summer of 22, bonus for this year is 175k (base of 250k). I work at one of the big OMMs. Bonus was a little disappointing given what my new grad package was (550k all in) but realizing performance bonuses can be kind of flat at my firm for the first few years.
lol can u hire me
an0 (stub year) - 30k, equities
Bank?
Non BB FICC structuring VP 1
425k all in.
225/200 base/bonus. 85% cash/15% deferred
Desk short PnL target by 10%. Next year should be around 500~ if things go well.
Does your desk split out structured “trading” vs the pure structuring side? I.e. trading mandate vs non trading mandate
On a securitized desk doing primary issuances so it’s it’s all direct pnl
