Dow Sub-10,000 today...Any Takers?
Who thinks the Dow will drop below 10,000 at some point today? 2:1 on twenty bucks says we'll see it, any takers?

Pre market is down 234 to 10130 right now.
With all the volatility I'd bet we hit sub 10000 sometime during the day. Hopefully it won't stay there.
it would be amazing to witness the DOW go below 10000
Definitely. Whether we stay under is a different question, but I'm calling we will break it on the Intraday.
Uncle Sam, whether it's the fed, federal government, or the treasury will step in and make the markets complacent..... Hurray for a bigger government.... The biggest government in ages.
Just got a call that my futures trading interview got canceled because of market conditions and will have to be rescheduled.
Just wonderful.
9,981.39 is the low... we hit sub 10,000.
Wow.
4000/14000= ~30%.
Shit.
That's nearly as much as 2001-2003 time frame which was about a bit more than 30% from 11.5 to 8.
Jesus....
Sub 9,000 any takers?
unlikely trading would be shut down before we got there.
just a joke, but we might hit that circuit breaker if this keeps up
Hit a circuit breaker today, twice (obviously they're having different kinds of problems):

Told ya so.......... :)
my guess is the bottom is 8100
Don't frown -- AVERAGE DOWN!
Don't be sore -- BUY SOME MORE!
averaging down is a suckers game. Most amateurs have no idea how to average down effectively.
Since the Dow is below 10k, do you all think that 10k will act as a new resistance? On the other hand, do you think that the market is in a free-fall and it won't matter?
I would tend to think that 10k will now act as the resistance. The lows made last week in the 10,300 area will also serve as heavy resistance.
Good call man, 9955.5
So what do you do? -I work for an investment banking firm. Oh okay; you are like my brother, he works for Edward Jones. -No, a college degree is required in my profession
