Equity Derivatives Flow Sales Questions

So I will be starting out as an Analyst in a T2 BB at the Equity Derivatives Flow Sales desk soon and I have following questions for you guys:

  1. What is the future outlook for equity derivatives (opportunities/challenges in form of new products, regulation, automation, etc)?

  2. Any book/literature recommendations in order to prepare for this job, I am currently reading "Hull Options and other derivatives"

  3. If several banks quote the same price & liquidity for a product, let's say a vanilla call option, why would they buy it from you?

  4. What are some common option strategies that you pitch to the client? (call/put spread, collar, vega/gamma long-short etc)

Thanks Guys!

Bump. I am also starting as an analyst in derivatives/structured products desk sales team. Wanna see if any senior salesmen could give some insights about the sales career and how I can prepare myself better.
