Leverage & Liquidity Ratios
How do you find how levered a company is, if BSC were levered 30X what does that mean? Where did that data come from, am i being obvious not to last from the Most recent quarter balance sheet. I would assume that a more dynamic measure would be used. Is this information readily available to the public?
Leverage Ratio = Debt/Equity, this would be total debt (long and short term) divided by stockholders equity.
I honestly have no idea what ratio is used for liquidity. What is the most common/best way of measuring liquidity? This is something I personally never really even bothered to look at that intensely until recently so would like to gain a more in depth understanding.
