Natixis Global Markets vs PNC Capital Markets
These are two internships that I have been looking at. I have read conflicting info about Capital Markets and am not sure if it would be a good career choice. I liked all of the people I spoke with at PNC however and it seems like a good culture. The Natixis Global Markets program would be in NYC, and rotate across 2 different desks for 5 weeks each, which I really like. The PNC Capital Markets program would be in Fixed income and not a main city (not NYC, Boston, etc).

I am a college student that wants to work in S&T (or at least I think). I've always been interested in the markets and think it would be a good fit for me. Their isn't much info available about these programs on here at all. Does anyone have any insight on these, particularly Natixis? I haven't read much about them, but the program seems enticing to me.
Natixis is not a global markets powerhouse in any way. If you want to do banking, can do Natixis if you'd like and maybe can get lucky on the exits. Pay is lower range of street level for sure, have very few teams that are competitive in any way. CLO team is known, everything else isn't a factor, people in finance haven't even heard of it. Nice people. If you're interested in learning, friendlier environment, might be a good place to start a career. If you're looking to be at Citadel 2 years after you join, definitely not the place.
