Sales and Trading Path/Exit Ops

I am an incoming S&T summer analyst at a BB. I am gravitating more towards the Fixed Income asset class as I enjoy global macro.
I would love to hear thoughts on various Fixed Income desks to possibly rotate on, paths and exit opportunities in Fixed Income.
Also overall exit opportunities for S&T.
Additionally, how valuable would a MBA be? I am thinking about applying to a deferred MBA program to gain work experience then possibly work towards an MBA after 4 years of full time. Any thoughts on a MBA in S&T would be appreciated.
Lastly, what can I be doing know to help build up my skillsets before my internship. I tend to have a lot of free time so anyway I can leverage this time to help enhance my overall intern experience would be great.
