Analyst Compensation and Lifestyle at Top Tier Growth Equity Firms?

At places like General Atlantic, Summit, TA, etc, what's the compensation and lifestyle like for analysts straight out of college?

I've heard ~250k for associates at GA, but not much info for analysts. What does progression look like from there and do analysts usually stay for more than 3-4 years?
