Capital Markets at Top PE shop or Growth/Venture at an okay shop?
Question for WSOs.. and I am asking because I want to know if I made the right career choice. 2nd year analyst finishing up banking years
I had an offer from a capital markets position at a top PE firm (e.g. Thoma Bravo / TPG etc.) and an offer for an investing position from a okay venture/growth firm (but really nice people, comp is average but <200k) - which position would you have chosen and why?
