Post-MBA VC at a bigger name shop

Hi all - first time writing in WSO, would love to hear your thoughts here.

I'm 26, was in healthcare consulting (1.5 yrs) then healthcare VC (~1.5 yrs). Graduated from a top liberal arts college with a biology degree, and headed to a M7 MBA this fall. I was not planning to go to an MBA this soon but I had to for personal reasons. Before I start school, I'm trying to really think through what I want to do post-MBA. I've always enjoyed VC and wanted to go back to healthcare VC after MBA but it seems like it's still going to be difficult to get into more established funds (not talking about Sequoia etc but the other established funds in healthcare), especially without a PhD/MD or significant startup experience. I know it's pretty niche, but was wondering if it makes sense to still focus on healthcare VC recruiting during MBA or think of other operational roles at biotech startups to gain a few years of experience before pivoting back to VC

If I focus on VC solely, I'm not sure how to go about recruiting, especially for the bigger firms. I got very lucky with my prior VC job (recruiting wasn't too difficult, got carry, and have an overall unique experience). But I doubt that it would be the case for the bigger firms. Any advice?
