VC Firms Hiring from Banking
Hey all, I am a first year at a top BB in tech coverage (think Q, MS Tech, GS TMT) and am wondering what VC firms will give me looks for post banking - mostly interested in later stage venture/ more growth-y stuff (which I also assume are the only looks I'd get). Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!

All of them. Seriously, if you’re in one of the groups you mentioned you’ll get looks from any VC firm you want. That said, the process apart from the really larger guys is still more networking based / less structured vs. PE, so you’ll need to be proactive with funds themselves and not just with recruiters
Thanks for the reply! Any idea of what the on cycle process looks like in comparison to PE, in terms of timing?
Some of the larger guys will recruit on cycle or around that time, a lot more of them will be throughout the year. I think you can still lean on headhunters but would additionally try to get in touch with associates at the funds you're interested in directly
