Nothing incredible, but definitely nice-to-haves:

  • Expensed dinner when working late
  • Expensed taxi home when working late
  • Virgin Active subsidy / discount (I think, never used this one)
    • Also on-site gym / shower, physio, doctor, nutritionist, wellness coach, lifestyle services
  • Bunch of healthcare stuff
    • Child care vouchers / Emergency child care
    • Dental cover
    • Life assurance
    • 52-week Mat & Pat leave
    • Private medical insurance
  • Flex options
    • Office transfers (mostly paused at the moment, until we recover)
    • MBA sponsorship
    • Externships
    • Various LOA options
  • Others (e.g. Phone)

on the reocvery side of things, what is general sentiment like? is the bench as crazy it was a year or so ago?

i appreciate it, has grad / AC intake been impacted as a result? looking to apply and a bit worried tbh

sorry i dont understand - you're saying 2025 intakes (those who apply in sept 2024) should go back to 2020-2022 numbers?

and damn im aware places like bain take on 20-30 people a year only, so I do not even wanna know what 2023 intake was like

btw im asking about pre-MBA (so <2 years exp, graudated from UG, PhD level etc)

Let me clarify my comments then, if it helps:

  • My comment on intakes / cohort sizes is meant to say that in 2023, we had fewer people start as ACs than in 2021 / 2022
  • As for 2025, I do not know whether our cohort sizes will return to the peaks of 2021-2022, as it will be driven by many factors (macroeconomy, attrition rates, promotion cycles, etc.)
  • As for 2024, I only said that I would be inclined to believe that we have likely filled up our upcoming cohorts with offers made to candidates last year. However, I am not in the recruiting team, so I don't know that for certain. In addition, it could hypothetically be the case that 2024 turns out to be a great year for us, and we suddenly need to hire more people, in which case we'd need to do some experienced hire recruiting in Q2/Q3. Is this likely? Hmm probably not, but it is always a possibility

I can't recall our 2023 AC intakes, but it was small over the whole year, <30 definitely (vs. 50+ in 2022 for example). And yes, this is indeed only for (S)AC roles.

We are a lot bigger now than we were 4-5 years ago, so our AC classes actually need to grow too, however it's a little soon to know what that number will turn out to be.
