How do you demonstrate your track record when interviewing?

I'm in my second year as an equity research analyst at a small-ish buy side fund. I'm not looking for a change, but I do look around on linkedin and other job boards just to get a sense of the market and what opportunities I might have in the future.

Most of the job postings just ask for a given level of experience. But sometimes I come across postings that ask for specifics on track record - one post asked applicants to show evidence of a 2.5+ sharpe ratio. An employer could easily look at my fund's performance, but beyond that they'd just be taking my word on which companies I covered, when we entered and exited positions, etc.

I'm wondering - is there something I'm not thinking of that can be used as hard evidence of a track record in an interview? Are there platforms outside of my job that I can use?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Yes.

I have coverage. I'm solely responsible for valuation of my coverage list. In one strategy, I have an equal vote on portfolio inclusion. In another, I don't have a vote but PMs rely on my valuation and recommendation. I'm guessing you wouldn't consider the latter case to be a risk-taking role. But the former, absolutely.
