Based on only analyst 1 and 2 bonuses, and only including the firms that have numbers for both, this is the state of affairs in 2023.

High Paying Banks - MOE, Citi, MTS, JPM, PWP, EVR, GS, Nomura

You can buy groceries at D'Agostino's in blissful ignorance, order $25 cocktails on nights out, and get the deluxe spicy chicken meal at Chic-fil-A.

Well Paying Banks - HW, Truist, Oppenheimer, WF, UBS, BofA, MS, RBC, HL, LAZ, PS

Might want to stick to Trader Joe's, pre-game with natty's in your buddy's 300 sqft apartment, and maybe grab just the regular chicken sandwich meal at Chic-fil-A.

Low Paying Banks - CS (rip), RJ, BMO, DB, Barclays

Best sustain yourself by eating ramen and raw prestige, sip 8oz hand sanitizer with water before nights out, and get 4-piece chicken nuggets at McDonald's.

PWP departing at 45k for A2 I think is off, know a few departing that got top and mid at 90 and 80.

Did we read the same post? EVR is paying the same or more than most other banks…

Damn Lazard comp sucks. Thought they used to be known as a well paying EB?

Lazard used to pay top of street - back in the 1990s.

UBS numbers are wrong, correct numbers below

A1:

Bottom: $35k

Mid: $45k

Top: $55k

A2:

Bottom: $60k

Mid: $70-80k

Top: $90-100k

All numbers rounded to the nearest $5k, exact individual figures can vary across group even within the same bucket

Through the rumor mill, heard following ranges

a2 - 85 to 95

A3 - 110 to 135
