Double Major in Economics and Computer Science

Hi,
So I will be playing lacrosse at Williams College next year. I want to start off in IB most likely as it is a great place to start. The great thing about Williams College is that there is a curriculum that allows for people double major easily (a lot of people there double major). I was basically debating on what I should major in and wondering if double majoring in Economics and Computer Science would give me a leg up at these investment banks. I’d most likely want to work for the TMT division too. Any thoughts and advice?

Yes, double majoring would help. It wouldn't really help recruiting wise as you would be fine with an Econ major and something like a CS minor -- also IB recruiting is mostly just networking so your major doesn't really matter too much.

However, knowing CS is a really valuable skillset in the future, so I would def try majoring in it or at least taking on a minor/electives. Who knows, you might like CS more than finance and pursue that full time.
