Investment Banking Dubai
Hey everyone,
I'm almost done with my Master of Finance program at a target school in the US. Before this, I did my undergrad at another target school in New York, and I've done internships in private equity and accounting at reputable firms.
I speak Arabic, and I'm thinking Dubai's investment banking scene might be a good fit for me.
I would appreciate any advice on how to make that happen. What do successful applicants in Dubai usually bring to the table? Any specific skills or stuff I should have under my belt?
Also, any tips on where to apply, given that most applications are closed, or maybe even someone I could chat with who's already working in investment banking in Dubai? I've already applied to all the major firms, but never heard back from any, and after reaching out, most of them said the applicants closed a long time ago even though the listings were a few days old at that point. So far, I've been applying to off-cycle internship positions and some full-time.
Thanks a bunch for any pointers you can share!
