Maintaining networks way above your belt

Hey monkeys, I really need some solid advice here. Im a low class immigrant, attending a non target in a major city. Managed to network well and secure a summer analyst position in NY. All my networking has pretty much been VP and below this far, with a couple c-suite exceptions. To my point, I managed to weasel my way into coffee chat with a partner at a BB and it went insanely well. We talked for almost three hours about our lives, telling stories, giving me advice, etc. after he asked me some serious questions related to work, and then said let’s keep in touch. Wtf am I supposed to do from here. I’m peanuts compared to this guy. How do I effectively communicate with this guy to stay relevant and worth interest as a future candidate or preferably mentor? Also any general advice for the future in terms of managing high net worth/position clientele/connections?

The only difference between you and him is more life experience and money to show for his success. He’s a human just like you treat him as such and it will be a normal relationship. When you put people on a pedestal is when you start differentiate yourself. I have a few friends I met who have a lot more substantial wealth than me and I’ve remained friends with them because I don’t feel intimidated by their success. At the end of the day everyone wants a happy life and to be treated with respect. You got this!
