MSc Finance and Accounting vs MSc Finance vs MSc Financial Technology - Imperial College London

Hi guys,

I would really appreciate if you could provide any advice where possible on the below.

I have received an offer for MSc Financial Technology in Imperial College London as I come from a tech undergrad degree. I have tried to get this changed to the MSc Finance after gaining 9 months finance experience on my CV, but they are being very reluctant. I ideally want to break into a BB investment bank (primarily Goldman or JP). Should I aim to instead try and get the MSc Finance and Accounting programme, or should I apply for the MSc Financial Analysis programme in LBS?

Which programme would look best from an employment perspective? It is obviously quite a lot of money ~£35k to pursue the MSc, so I want to ensure I make the right decision. I don't think the MSc Financial Technology is relevant, especially given my tech background.

I have internship experience in a HFoF and a small HF.

I would really appreciate hearing some of your thoughts on this.

Thanks!!

I don't know much about the MSc Financial Technology but the other courses you mentioned would look good on your CV, however, no MSc will guarantee you a role at Goldman or JPM. If your overall profile is good, you should get interviews.
