What to do $25k

Anyone have any good ideas about what I can buy with about $25,000? I already have an equity portfolio of a size I am happy with but was thinking about angel investing, buying an online business, or something else along those lines. I dont have any debt and already have a cash rainy day fund. I am looking to diversify my entire portfolio out of equitys. I want something low maintence bc I am still an analyst. Any ideas?

Squirtlez' rottweiler puppy should do the trick.

Seriously though I was going to say precious metals but low maintenance? Hmm....

to be an angel u need to be an accredited investor as defined by the sec:

As defined by the Securities and Exchange Commission in rule 501 of Regulation D, an individual is an “Accredited Investor” if he or she meets any one of the following: Has an individual income in excess of $200,000 (or $300,000, together with spouse) in each of the two most recent years and reasonably expects an income in excess of $200,000 (or $300,000, together with spouse) in the current year

Has an individual net worth, or a joint net worth with spouse, at the time of purchase, in excess of $1,000,000.

start reading up on art and buy a piece you think will appreciate. nice little side hobby. also gives you an excuse to go to auctions.

I am looking for serious answers. Its difficult as an analyst to manage your investments with so little free time. I also cannot get in and out of equitys that easily due to our compliance group. We have a 30 day min hold and an over zealous watch list for both buying and selling.

i'm fucking serious check my track record
