Lateral to PE in Southeast Asia
Hi folks,
I joined an DFI (think ADB, AIIB, IFC) and am currently planning for my next step with my end goal working for UMM/MM PE in SEA (preferably Singapore based). I am thinking about MBA -> BB IB -> PE, but I am not really clear:
-
Is MBA -> BB IB -> PE a good path given my background in DFI? I already have certain deal exposure and finance skills, should I opt for MBB Consulting post-MBA then lateral to PE?
-
Which MBA program should I aim for given my goal and my background? Should I aim for M7 -> BB IB in US -> PE in Singapore?
Thanks.
