Veritas or Francisco Partners
Advice needed. Currently recruiting for sr associate positions and am in final stages for both. Assuming I’m location agnostic, which is the better place to go?
Both places seem to work pretty hard given volume of deal flow at each firm, and I’ve liked people at both. Francisco’s current fund is modestly larger, but heard that Veritas will be raising a materially larger fund this year, so there seems to be room to grow at both places.
What else should I be considering and can others provide more insight?
Both are sweaty. I would base decision on whether or not you want to be a true tech focused shop. Would you be industry silo'd at Veritas day 1?
No, not siloed in either firm
Agree, both sweaty as hell per sources at both. Both are top 5 funds by returns on some rankings I've seen. Tech vs. Healthcare/A&D/Education/Gov services.
