Tech Startup Internship vs Corporate Finance Internship

I have just finished my sophomore year of college majoring in Finance and Accounting at a non-target where I have a 4.0 gpa and I have interned at a Fund of Funds in NYC previously. I have received two internship offers one working in corporate finance role (Financial Planning and Analysis/Treasury) at a non finance company which is a paid internship. The other is at a VC backed tech startup where I will be working directly with the CEO a Harvard MBA who used to work in private equity, I would be doing Operations/Finance/Development during this internship but it is not paid. Both internships are in NYC and I would have to commute to work everyday from LI for both which would cost at least $1000 so if I took the Tech internship I would have to pay for this out of my own Pocket. What internship would be better for someone who wants to get into Investment Banking and then PE/VC somewhere down the line. Your help is greatly appreciated.
