Super undermarket pay so they tend to attract non-traditional backgrounds, (think Big-4 TAS, ER, regional IB) which translates to a very high competence gap.

Heard their analysis tends to be very simplistic (nobody there under the Serent-level Principals know how to build a monthly model), so your translatable experience will be highly limited.

Bad culture, low pedigree.

Don't take my word for it. Conduct this search on your own time:

LinkedIn search bar —> “banneker partners associate” —> coffee chat anybody under the Sr. Asso. level

Once you get them on the phone, ask them any question under the 400 BIWS Advanced sections

They can’t answer because they all come from hyper non-traditional backgrounds (i.e. ER, regional boutique IB, straight out of UG, etc.)

P.S. they recently fired an Associate after 2 days when they learned that his onboarding would be slightly delayed after recovering from a car accident. Take that for what you will in terms of culture.

Edit: the fact that I keep getting MS bombed for advice that pretty much amounts to “talk to their employees” should be fairly indicative of the type of experience you’d have there
