Guys,

Guys, wanna ask you for honest opinion: what chances do I have to get into IB (Associate) after MBA and no IB experience whatsoever?

I'm currently on a grad scheme in FMCG and actually my whole experience (internships and now grad scheme) is based on consumer goods. I realise that to get into IB I need MBA. OK, let's assume that I'll manage to get into one of top20 bschools. The only reason I wanna do MBA is to get into IB (or strat consultancy), but - as I will have to pay by myself - don't wanna do MBA without any decent possibility of getting into IB/MC. My FMCG experience is good (good companies, career in finance).

I'm just looking for straightforward HONEST opinion cause I've read a lot of stuff that 'even without IB experience you'll easily get into IB after MBA' but somehow don't buy it fully.

What do you think?

Look at MBA profiles, majority of them don't have IB experience.

I changed my resume since that one. But I'd really appreciate if you'd delete it...this is harassment(actually did you leave me a message a few days ago spouting something about ramadan and muslims, or was that just a wrong #)

Also how the hell did you get access to my school's career services website...I recognize that format of my resume because the uploader there screwed up the format with the phone #

i agree with asp monkey here. zala take that down. it's just malicious to post that on here and as annoying as he can be sometimes, i don't think he deserves hundreds or thousands of people knowing his identity and contact info.

WTH is ibankingoasis on your resume?

"I have strengthened my written communication by arguing with others on an online message board."
