Salary after Business School
I already got some great advice here for my little brother a year ago, now I need your industry knowledge.
I've been working as a strategic project lead in a large direct to consumer startup (250M+ revenue) in Europe. Now, I am in the great position to have MBA offers from Stanford and Wharton. However, my current employer does not sponsor it and thus I would need to take some debt to finance it. What salaries can I expect if I work a few years in the States post-MBA? PE and Consulting are probably out of scope due to no experience there.
Hi simonger, hope I can help. Do any of these links cover what you're looking for:

I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.
Congrats on Stanford, take the acceptance and don’t look back. Hard to say what the salary will be exactly without knowing what you’ll pursue post-MBA, but average total comp was $250k+ for GSB last year
Why would Consulting be out of scope? Plenty of career switchers use B-school to break in.
And they usually get the biggest starting salaries on average among their classes.
